WHAM! BLAM! SHOKUPAN!
Where to start with Shokupan? Well we met up with the masterminds behind the brand, Wasi and Omran, and were immediately blown away by their 'hotties'. A Shokupan is a sweet milk bread originating from Japan, and the lads put an array of incredible fillings between those two juicy slices.

Originally called GupShup, they had a pop up shop in a prominent location at the Great Western Arcade in Birmingham. Setting their sights on bigger and better things the opportunity came up to have a unit in a prime location at Birmingham Grand Central station. This gave them an opportunity to create a new slick identity and we created an interior to match!

Inheriting a lot of the existing elements from the previous site we wanted to keep as much as we could but add a little twist. The theme was to be impactful, not too in your face but just enough to stand out and take inspiration from the bold colours of Manga illustrations and artwork. Having such an interesting and unique concept brief to start on this got our creative juices flowing.

Producing 3D images, a walkthrough, technical drawing package, bespoke illustration artwork and delivering the concept on site, we really combined all of our skills together to make a killer brand with a killer product. Go check them out you won't be disappointed/
After spending several months looking for the right company to provide brand design as well as interior design, I was excited to find Dekota. We were looking for a smaller, edgier agency that could deliver cooler and more contemporary designs, whilst understanding we were a small independent business and budget was crucial.
They exceeded all my expectations in every area. Great ideas, understood what I was looking for, easy communication throughout. They ultimately delivered a brand and set of plans and designs that were both outstanding and detailed. Overall, It has taken a big stress away from what initially appeared to be a daunting process.
Can't wait to work with the guys again on the next project!
